The first DIRAC & Rucio workshop was hosted by KEK in Tsukuba, Japan. It was attended by more than 40 participants and focused on the collaboration between the two software projects.

5th Rucio community workshop

10 November - 11 November 2022 @ Lancaster University, UK

The fifth Rucio Community Workshop was hosted by Lancaster University, UK, and was attended by over 80 participants. It was colocated with the WLCG workshop.

4th Rucio community workshop

28 September - 30 September 2021 @ Virtual

The fourth Rucio Community Workshop was held as fully virtual workshop. Over 110 participants joined us to hear presentations from 27 scientific communities. Three topical sessions on WFMS, astronomy, and the long tail of science were held. We also introduced three expert-panels on "Rucio in a non-grid environment", "Astronomy & Metadata", and "Transfer & Storage" where experts discussed questions from the audience.

10 March - 12 March 2020 @ Fermilab, USA

The third Rucio Community Workshop was hosted by Fermilab, USA. Over 80 participants joined us to hear presentations from 29 scientific communities.

15-17 October 2019 @ CERN

We organized a three day coding camp at CERN which brought together 21 current and future Rucio developers.

2nd Rucio community workshop

28 Feburary - 1 March 2019 @ Oslo, Norway

For the 2nd Rucio Community Workshop we met in Oslo, Norway where 12 communities (ATLAS, CMS, CTA, DUNE, EISCAT3D, ICECUBE, LCLS-II, LSST, NSLS-II, SKA, XENONnT, XDC) presented their use cases and challenges.

We organized a two day coding camp at CERN which brought together 14 current and future Rucio developers.

1st Rucio community workshop

1-2 March 2018 @ CERN

In order to present Rucio to a wider audience, we organized a two days workshop at CERN where we presented Rucio, its concepts and the ongoing and planned developments. The workshop was then devoted to the information exchange between the Rucio developers, service administrators and the various interested communities (and possible collaborations) in order to collect feedback and requirements.
